Meet Lisa Moody

Lisa Moody is a Canadian born, 32 year old Wife, mom of two and Registered Nurse. Lisa was a very active child who loved track & field, Baseball and Pro Wrestling. Lisa went to college to become an Aesthetician and later went back to school to obtain a Degree in Nursing- BScN. 

While Lisa was in school she became interested in body building and competed in 2 Bikini Competitions at the provincial Level. Lisa's prepped for her first show entirely at home (February 2009-October 2009) and placed 3rd. Lisa went on to train in a gym setting and competed in April 2010 where she also placed 3rd. Lisa's had learned the benefits and the risks of competing and decided to forgo training for more competitions and focus on health instead. 

Fast forward, Lisa became a mother of two boys and gained 50lbs during each pregnancy. Pregnancy was difficult the 2nd time and the weight took an entire year to lose. Lisa experienced hair loss, mood swings, acne, inflammation and severe bloating over the years and figured out the underlying cause was due to PCOS and gluten intolerance. Having eaten clean for years without much change in the scale, Lisa had learned that you can not out train a bad diet. Or even a good diet but that does not work for YOUR BODY. Lisa learned to balance her hormones and eat what her body needs and was able to lose 8lbs and lives symptom free from her medical conditions. 

Lisa is passionate about helping others in their weight loss journeys. Lisa is a caring individual who understands the barriers to health and wants to make fitness a staple in everyone's life. Her goal is to create a community of women who inspire others to create healthy lifestyles.

"I want fitness to be available to everyone. Rich, poor, no gym membership, no equipment, no education- no problem. I want to help change the lives of everyone who feels lost. It's a lot to learn but I will do my best to teach you all that I know."
